Our Journey
A Ray of Hope, Today! began in 2007, when the idea and name were first conceived. Over the next several years, the vision took shape, and by 2013, the organization chose to focus its efforts more intentionally—working with one organization at a time to make a deeper impact.

In 2019, a major milestone was reached when A Ray of Hope, Today! officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and opened its community thrift store, expanding its ability to serve.

By 2021, the mission had grown even further. Recognizing the need to serve more people at once, the organization expanded its approach—moving beyond one-at-a-time support to a broader, community-centered model that continues today.

We come alongside the struggling, vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved to empower them on a journey to self-advocate for relief, rehabilitation, and development that will transform our community.

We ensure meaningful collaboration among service providers and initiate programming for systemic change.
Purpose
We exist to facilitate the transformation of individual lives and the community.
